girl on the water's edge by equivoque girl on the water's edge by equivoque
model:

on the north shore of lake superior... minnesota, united states. for the tone, i tried to come up with something that would be evocative of summers past. something out of memory.

I think the overblown light in back helps that feel. So lovely. It looks like she is growing up.... sigh... good, of course, but....

This is absolutely lovely, the fly-on-the-wall sorta approach. And I think you achieved the feeling you were going for, how the picture goes into a white haze at the top right makes it feel like it's going back in time, fading into the past.

 Very lovely, dear.

like this one, the girl seems so interested in something so occupied, but in what im not sure,
what keeps me interested in the photo itself i guess :)

that's great! i love that she's (seemingly?) unaware of the camera. it's a lovely shot that evokes a feeling of being carefree!

thanks. all these shots were endearing though slightly out of focus, as she was playing on the rock unaware of the camera. tried both autofocus (which got confused by all the light on the water) and just trying to focus on a moving target. i had to settle for what i had because it was the unawares quality of this series that i liked.
