I think this would have just a little more charm for me if the composition weren't so centered. It's a beautiful shot, nonetheless.

it's sort of surreal and creepy, not that that's a bad thing. the water looks black, and it's eerily still ("quiet...TOO quiet..." haha). the boy is turning, and looking at the water as if he just felt something sinister brush his leg. he looks lost in a film-noir kind of dream, like something on the other side of the mirror. it's cool. :)

Your pictures of your children really capture your love for them even when you're nowhere in sight; I mean, the way you handle the subject matter. I think that's what makes them so distinct and magical. (;

Tha water is great. Elinor, for devloping your films you don't need any space. Being for a couple of minutes (the time to put the film on the roll and into the paterson cuve and shut it) in a perfectly dark place (toilets for example) is enought.
You need a bit more place to do your prints

one last question, satisfied with the carl zeiss 50mm?
i have the 80mm f/2.8 and wide angle is a must i guess.
