Ooh, this is very nice. It has that...mythical feel to it. Also, I like how the colors are all muted and whatnot. :+fav:

Her expression is really good. And taking the picture from above her gives at even more of an edge. Strong work.

What a great little story, "Chunky" I love it! :aww: One of the best shots of Clementine yet. Like my granddaughter in some photos she looks so grown up and in some, like this one, she still looks like a little girl. But don't tell her that!! :D

:giggle: but grown up in a wise way... not in a worldly way the way too many girls are now.

Yes definitely, by reason of her upbringing! It's so much more different raising children, especially girls, than it was when I raised my son which wasn't all THAT long ago. Each generation seems to grow up faster and faster which is such a pity, too bad they can't keep their innocence longer.

That's fantastic. The mood, the color, the layout. And her piercing stare, clutching the block of wood.... This is one image that is going to haunt me. Brilliant. Bloody brilliant. And complements to your little girl, too. She's great in these photos.

To me this is so powerful. The integrity and truth of a child is just astonishing sometimes... I wish it was as incorruptable as it may seem. Wonderful! I love it... the style in which you make these photos.. the sort of 70s 60s quality.. great =D

"It shouldn't surprise us that, upon finding a chip of wood, !Clementine98 (now ~ClementineAgain) embraced it and gave it the name Chunky."

That actually reminded me of Le Petit Prince.
"My drawing was not a picture of a hat. It was a picture of a boa constrictor digesting an elephant. [Grown-ups] They always need to have things explained."

her expression reminds me of when I was her age. This picture makes me feel very sentimental...I love it.

:drunk: I hope that is the correct way to make a face. I haven't tried to before....ehehe

Ah, so wonderful! Serious, yet incredibly adorable at the same time. Being in such a lovely environment, it's quite interesting that she would rather embrace a block of wood than, say, a flower.
