By profession, I am a network engineer/designer and Linux systems administrator, which is not unrelated to the fact that I have 4 lovely children to support. This job, however, is one of the least poetic jobs there could be.

For as long as I can remember, I have been engaged in some creative endeavor, whether it be writing, painting, or photograpy. Until 2004, I wrote poetry, and my work has appeared in Aura and the Birmingham Poetry Review.

Not unlike other photographers, my passion for the art was born when I received a camera as a gift. My late and beloved grandfather gave me his old 1970s Pentax to begin recording the lives of my children. My interest eventually shifted from documenting the people and places that surrounded me to making photos. In 2005, I bought my first Polaroid SX-70 and began shooting Time-Zero film. It was then that I felt I had really found the medium that best fit my vision or the world. I shoot 35mm and medium format, and I also enjoy working with Toy Cameras. My work has appeared in Light Leaks Magazine and is currently being shown in a series of exhibitions in France.

I do not differentiate between poetry and photography. For me, they are one thing.
